Hey friends,
It feels strange writing about what I’m putting on my face or plugging in my ears when the world feels heavy. There are lots of things we can’t control, so over the last few weeks, I’ve focused on gratitude and the opportunity I have to nurture those around me.
A friend spoke about kindness and love in a time like now which is what I’ve been carrying with me. Here’s hoping you find some helpful bits + pieces to have a poke around this week.
Grateful to have you here.
Face massage
The queen pro-MUA Lisa Elridge released a video on her facial massage routine back in 2014 and I frequently re-visit it. All you need is some face oil, serum, or cleansing balm and your hands. You’ll want to bookmark this.
Taking responsibility for our behaviour
Mark Groves is just one of the all-time greats. He’s a human connection specialist and explores the complex world of relationships and connections. There are so many nuggets in this one, get a notebook and pen.
Dance decks
When I get stuck into a chunk of work like deck building or creative writing, dancey fun house music is my go-to. I came across Ashibah last week who’s been giving me clubbing-high-energy-feels. Whack this set on.
A real defined vibe
Before my trip back to Aus I revisited the Benefit Brow Bar, which in hindsight, I should have never left. I’ve always been a big brow mascara fan but have really enjoyed a slightly more defined brow of late. The Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil has a brush on the end and lets you do hair-like strokes to get a filled defined finish.
